That Nike Duke - NBA commercial with Lebron

How is that not an unfair advantage for Duke and Coach K? Baisically, it’s go to Duke and be a number 1 nba draft pick. NCAA is terrible.

When Woj was with Yahoo, he was hitting on this with respect to the national team -- basically saying K did it just for the recruiting profile showcase. Woj got beat up a bit on that as it seemed like some personal butthurt that went back a ways.

It's 2017 and top kids are going to go to Duke until time stops. That commercial could have plugged in UK instead & it would have made zero difference.

The last few were from LSU and Washington and missed the NCAA tournament... The next one will be Ayton or Michael Porter Jr. and not from Duke

Nike ripped off the idea from its own soccer commercial from several years ago that Guy Ritchie directed.
Still a cool premise, but it's not a great look for the NCAA, especially since the adidas/Louisville stuff just went down.

I mean, top basketball athletes already go to Duke, they don't need a commercial to help them with that.
