Am I missing something? That was one of the best responses to an attempt to trick one into an emotional response that I've seen. I don't care where one stands on an issue, I prefer someone's stance not be dependent on emotion.

If he would have stated that he personally would want the man dead, but as for structuring policy we have to look at what works, makes us safer and lowers crime. I personally agree with you that I don't need that window dressing but the general populace does.
