Y’all don’t get tired of debating this shite over and over and over and over?

I don’t think any new information, data, or stats have been brought into the conversation in about a year or two, so why don’t y’all just give this shite up?

I’ve never once seen this debate change anyone’s minds on the accomplishments and shortcomings of miles nor the possibility of CEO being successful in the future.. not one fricking time

Let it go. Celebrate CLM’s victories, laugh at his quirkiness, and root for CEO to be successful in the future. It’s that simple.. this shite is getting old

Y’all sound like the trump vs hillary political frickboys on facebook, and that’s nothing to be proud of

Most people have done just this, but for some reason we still have posters like the OP who feel the need to start these kind of threads. I'm starting to think they do it more to convince themselves everything is fine rather than change everyone else's mind.

It's evident in the OP's edit this morning. As soon as Coach O is questioned or a positive spin is challenged, his supporters go mental and accuse everyone of wanting Les back. Space Cowboy has called other posters "Miles butt lickers" more times than I can count, just for saying his tenure was successful. That type of hostile nonsense is always going start the same crap again.

I do get tired of this argument, and I hope LSU wins every game.

But it's revisionist shite like this
quote:

Expectations could not be really high this year considering we lost the best RB in college and lost numerous lineman. Young and unproven WRs and a very young secondary. The wins over FL and Auburn show that this team is growing up. We should of competed for more titles and had more 10 win seasons with the talent Les had.
that causes me to resond.

Miles had the program at an extremely high level, and we as fans were used to and demanding greatness. Alabama has separated from LSU (and the rest of the college football world), and the general consensus was that we needed a new coach to catch up to the Tide. We wanted everything Miles brought, plus some new stuff- more, bigger linemen, a more dynamic offense.

What we got with O- a big step back, so far. The wins we took for granted are no longer gimmes, as we've got 2 BAD losses, worse than any since the Dinardo or Hallman days. There was a massive defection of linemen, the recruiting class is bleeding away, the coach has said some pretty disparaging things about current players (we have no kicker, the 3rd team back shouldn't have been out there, etc).
This doesn't look like what we were after when we ran Miles off. We wanted to tweak the program, not rip it down and start over. That's why we kept an interim and multiple coaches from the prior staff. So far, the results are up in the air, to say the least.

Let's not get too excited about beating Auburn and Florida; that's what we previously expected to do. We wanted MORE.

Why is it every time someone calls someone else out for these kind of threads, it's always directed at a poster that is talking about the positive things that Miles accomplished at LSU. It's never directed toward anyone that wants to kick Miles in the nuts.

Seems to me that you should have replied to the poster that started this thread and chose the title "Les vs CEO"

And I do agree with you, next to nobody's going to change their mind about how they view Miles time here and these kind of threads are getting old.
