This is garbage on so many levels. Alleva has to go NOW in order to save this teams integrity.

This can’t solve anything and will probably cause these assistant coaches to leave under good reasons.

Because it is a rumor. There is no credence to the story. Every outlet is referencing the same unconfirmed source.

If we see Alleva with a headset on this weekend, all bets are off, correct?

Chris Landry is not a mere fan. I promise I'm not trying to sound condescending, but Do you not know who he is??

This is absolutely not a mere rumor.

Chris Landry is about as solid as it gets in terms of reporting and connections and sources. This isn't some bum off the street making stuff up for kicks.

If you think this is a rumor, there's the disconnect.. I would recommend you research Landry, call him if you have to, and listen to the podcast. This is not a rumor Chicken, this is a confirmed report.

I'm glad reality is back at the forefront of most people's minds again. We beat Florida and the sunshine pumpers crawled out from every crevice and rock.

The team had a needed win, yes, and played hard for the first time all year. And this is good, I'm not trying to say otherwise.

But behind the Florida win, sunshine pumping love fest, there was still the nagging, underlying issue of utter incompetence within the athletic department and how it directly correlated to the coaching staff.

It, honestly, gives me hope that Alleva really knows his job is in jeopardy. He shouldn't be interfering at all in football. Period. But, he is, and it proves two things:

1) Alleva is trying to cover his own arse at this point, so something is going on behind the scenes. This will reflect badly on him, no matter what happens.

2) Alleva has zero faith in his own HC hire. How many times did he ever have to Meet with Miles and his coordinators, or sit in on those film studies? This also reflects badly on Alleva.

Either way, it looks bad on Alleva. Since Alleva won't give certain coaches enough rope to hang themselves, I'm glad he's getting enough rope to do it to himself. I'm just kicking back, waiting for the first domino to fall.

yes. Did o not have a press conference yesterday so that it could be asked if Alleva is watching film with him? Does he have a press conference today?

From what I saw on twitter he had a show last night but I don't know if callers were allowed. Wasn't a shite show like we saw the week after Troy.

You know he's going to be asked about it and he'll deny everything, and continue to harp on how supportive Mr. Alleva is and how he's a great AD.

Hey, it's your site and you are absolutely entitled to run it the way you see fit. But I can assure you, this is not a rumor and Chris Landry is as legit and connected as it gets.

This is a big, confirmed story. There's a reason LSU is trying to squash it, because it's bad. It's real bad for them. This is not how an organization the size of LSU football is supposed to run.

So any Tom, Dick, and Harry can post any idea, random thought, or opinion on this site and unless you defame a player with personal attacks, or don't have a proper thread title, all is cool - no anchor. Almost EVERY post on this site is unconfirmed.

But someone with NFL and college experience, who has also been around the LSU program, can't have his say linked on this same site?

Why are you trying to sweep this under the rug Chicken?

Please give it up, man

I bet we'll see soon enough how big of a circus this has been.

I mean, maybe it happened one time, and this has been exaggerated by internet "sauces". Wouldnt this be akin to a school principal sitting in on a teacher's class to observe?

If it is just O and Alleva in the film room, how do other coaches know what's going on?

Rumor posting has been squashed on this site for a long time.

Back when Mett was still here I jokingly referenced a rumor I had seen about him moping around campus, post was axed, got a DM telling me to stop spreading shite rumors. Only DM I've ever received.

This isn't anything new.

One of those articles stated that Aranda and Canada were a part of these meetings at some point. Or if they weren't, they knew of it and coaches talk to other coaches.

So much second/third/fourth hand knowledge there, but I believe that's where it's coming from.

While the analogy might hold, it is completely acceptable in one profession and never occurs in the other. Hence the latter being news worthy.

JPLSU, are you still contending that Alleva is directing the offense and the defense from behind the scenes?

Did they sneak in and out of the film rooms like ninjas?
So there's no possibility some staffer saw O and Alleva use the facilities?
And they wouldn't think "hm that's odd, what is the AD doing in the film room?"

People see things and they talk.

JPLSU has never contended anything in the context of Alleva and what went down in the meeting with coaches. He has shared articles from legit media outlets, including Chris Landry and Yahoo Sports who are both 100% legit.

Chris Landry is a veteran NFL scout who has worked for the Cleveland Browns and the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans. Previously, he ran the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and served as an assistant coach at LSU. Landry is a consultant for multiple NFL teams and major college programs.)

exactly! Who knows what they were doing or why he may have been with O...sounds like hearsay, which is the foundation for a rumor.

so you missed his post yesterday where JPLSU said that Alleva is directing the offense and the defense from behind the scenes.
