when i was a child it was tested at 161

if we tested it today, i imagine it would be somewhere around 124-130

i have not done a very good job of doing the things necessary to maintain IQ since approximately middle school

Like not destroying your brain? IQ stabilizes roughly around age 8, and since intelligence in conceptualized and an enduring traits, tests are designed to reflect that. So you can't really do much to change your intelligence other than things that can negatively impact cognitive functioning (head injuries, substance abuse).

Now something like critical thinking can be improved, but thats because you can change the aspects of it that are not a function of intelligence.

Of course TD.com has the largest concentration of MENSA members. It goes with the 4.3 40 that many midlife men here can still run while lugging around their 9" penises and wallet full of play cash that is at least double the median income level.
