Where does Wisconsin get its O-Lineman?

Is there any way for us to get some connections and get a pipeline started? Every year they send at least one or two O-Lineman to the NFL and they end up being studs. Ryan Ramcyzk with the Saints is the latest example. It's amazing what they have done.
Maybe we could hire an assistant from their staff who has ties to that area? We desperately need to rebuild this O-Line.

Living in Wisconsin over the last ten (10) years they are throughout the state of Wisconsin...Jim Harbaugh (Michigan) took this kid named Ben Bredesen last year started as a freshmen last year and will be playing in NFL...If LSU truly wants linemen on the offensive side of the ball they are in this state and they are good....Hey O I can give you a list if interested...Oh by the way you want a stud JUCO LB his name is Dom Cizaukas playing for Fort Scott...You want a player a difference maker he is the guy...Look it up Coach O...Not difficult to find...Plus these guys are good student athletes...For goodness sake Coach O talk with Aranda he coached at Wisconsin..Unreal...

I forgot about that! We already have a guy on staff that coached at Wisconsin. Why haven't we gone after any lineman from that state?

Lack of communication and that unfolded this week...Hard to believe some of these guys actually are coaches...

There is something amiss within the program

The question should be....who coaches them??? Obviously not Grimes!!!

Going up to Wisconsin to get lineman is not necessary.
LSU has had several go in the draft since 2013. As a matter of fact that 2013 line (our best offensive season), had Collins, Turner, Pocic, and Hawkins on it.
Whiny LSU fans seem to forget that Guice and Fournette and Hill and Magee didn't just push their way through for long arse TD runs. Except for 2014 when we had to learn a new blocking scheme, from 2013 to 2016, no RB who finished 1st or second in rushing averaged less than 6.5 yards per carry. Our pass blocking has been mediocre I'll give you that, but we've been able to run successfully vs everybody but Bama over the past 4 years.
Using Bama as a measuring stick for our OL has also always been stupid, yet so many do t. Those games came down to offensive scheme, play calling, and QB play.
If we can get a pass first OC/HC in here, our pass blocking will improve because they'll actually get taught proper pass blocking, will have more reps in it, and our recruiting will actually gear towards that more than we do now. Because Miles was a former OL, OL coach, and was part of coaching LSU's OL, we geared more towards the beefy run blockers, with guards playing every position and primary focus in practice being run blocking.
Don't know how good of a coach Grimes is on his own as Miles has been part of the coaching, but so far, it looks really bad. Maybe it will get better next year, but who knows. I really don't think it's the players, it seems more like bad coaching.

Jeff Grimes is the problem, not the talent. You don’t have a steady flow of 4* OL recruits and make excuses. Other teams do more with way less!

2 actually, Canada was Wisconsin's OC for a year in 2012.

So what's the problem? Is O too concerned with locking down LA?

They are not handicapped by coach o

We have them here just don't take the chance on them. There is a kid at Oakgrove that will play D1 ball somewhere. He looked really good with good feet, not fat but he has a 300lb frame. No offer from LSU.

Yep, not sure if most know but Eric Andolsek's dad is from up in that area. Big ole boys! That is what we need!

LSU should trade them,if they're interested

Grimes can't evaluate talent. Example: Pineville's Cody Ford, now a future all American OT at OU. Started as a true freshmen. Wanted to go to LSU. Camped at LSU with TCU offer in hand. Was wanting an offer. Grimes/Miles inexplicably said he was not good enough???? Louisiana boy now anchoring the best O-line in college football in another damn State. Sad!!!
