Giving credit where it's due re: Kaepernick

Say what you want about Colin - he's currently executing one of the most difficult things to pull off... he's showing the discipline to stay out of the spotlight and deny himself the temptation to talk with media regarding everything that's going on.
Every day, every hour that passes without a Kaepernick interview helps whet the public's appetite for when he eventually speaks or writes or runs for office. I despise what he started but I would damn well go out of my way to watch 60 Minutes or whatever he does next.
Maybe I'm giving too much credit, but IMO he's enhancing his brand among his followers in a way that rivals what Trump achieved in 2015 and 2016.
It's basically the opposite of what Hillary Clinton is doing. I'd say that Kaepernick is now the most sought after long interview subject in North America.
What could he get for a book deal right now? I'd guess $3 million or more - and growing.

I said this to my bros last weekend...of course that hot little number he's with is the mouthpiece in that relationship

That might be true but I don't think he's remaining quiet to boost his brand. He's silent because of the huge public backlash against his brand.

He only started this whole charade to score points with his hot BLM girlfriend.
Are they even still together now? Maybe the deal was he only has to "protest" for so long.

He has been well informed of how dumb he looks when he does speak. It only hurts his brand to speak.
Too much credit, you may give, good sir.
Seriously, he's a blithering idiot.

I'm glad of what he started, this plus the mix of Trump calling these people out you can really see who hates this country.

Alot too much... I honestly think the kid is a head case ,but he made his money and was looking for a way out. No one who really wanted to play football in the NFL would allow their girlfriend to post the things she did about the owner of the Ravens especially when he was about to offer him an 8 figure contract. I think he started this then the media picked it up and ran with it and then it became political. You have a half black kid who was adopted by a rich white family that has a militant black mentality ,but doesn't vote and supports communism. The dude is a straight head case.

Pretty sure ol' girlfriend of Paddock would command much more exposure right now.
He has been coached well though. His message permeates a lot more with him being silent and others doing his bidding but then again, it's probably an insult to his intelligence (or lackthereof) because he would clown himself in an interview. We all know it's inevitable.
