It may one day, but at that point it would be well within a gentrification process with outside investors pouring in.

I have a feeling that the racist that wrote the op-ed would have a major problem with that too.

Every time I hear her speak or read her opinion it sounds more and more like she thinks NBR deserves all of East Baton Rouge Parish's tax dollars.

As I said in the OP, tax dollars do not change culture. They change infrastructure. Until the PEOPLE on NBR make a concerted effort to rid their area of drugs and blight, nothing will change
