Nothing like a late season hurricane to wipe out the feed in the marshes from Lafayette to Mississippi.

It's not gonna be that bad. It may even help some areas by getting rid of salvania.

I hope you are right and I'm wrong. Normally a system like this burns everything back and what doesn't get burned back gets ripped out by wave action

I'm going to hold back my comment because downvotes make me sad.

Is it something to the affect that I should be more worried about lives?
I am but I don't think this is a life changer just a coast destroyer especially for the areas that have no rosseau cane.

Weak Cat 1 at worst, so no major damage projected. Will kill what food we had if it gets close. We haven't recovered south of head of passes since that storm that swiped Mexico a few years ago in October. All our food died and then the lillies have taken over. We can't hunt about 60% of the area down there that we formerly could.

OK good! I didn't have you pegged like that!

I bet he was gunna say that this storm will greatly help out his duck season because he hunts Central LA rather than the coast

"Just went make a pass in Venice, thank God I'm back!"
In all seriousness, I really hope it doesn't destroy ya'll feed, I know that would suck.

Yeah this is gonna be shitty, I hunt only coastal LA... Big hurricanes will definitely kill any feed, but what about a smaller hurricane? Curious to hear what others think will happen along the coast.
