That's the thing- is not just a rare scenario, but a rare scenario nond of us are well trained to evaluate AND anyone at the scene was level 10 amped up.

The easiest answer is it's the single shooter with multiple types of weapons, two windows pointed two ways plus a variety of surfaces to echo off plus a ton of potential light anomalies-- if you get an audio expert to say otherwise then sure, let's talk. If it's some random dude calling into the radio? Well, random dudes tend not to be the sharpest and I wouldn't listen to him for most other complex issues either.

I hear ya, but the caller said she was there and when she was interviewed by CBS news she got a mention from Sarah Huckabee during a press briefing so can't really go with the "random dude". The audio clip that Savage played before the caller is the one I want to hear again. I heard the short bursts of the semi automatic weapon and then the longer continuous stream of fire that lasts minimum 5-6 seconds and maybe as long as 8-10 seconds, that's why I want to hear it again so I can measure the length of the continuous fire. The guns shown in the hotel photos are not going to give more than a 5-6 second continuous fire without a belt or drum.

The other part of her story that was interesting is the woman who was shot behind the caller, and was facing the same direction (south, and the hotel was west of the caller) but was hit according to the caller not in the side but in the front side of her body in the abdomen.
