What if we run the table minus the Bama and Auburn game. I have already conceded to 20-30 point losses in those 2 games. That would put us at 8-4 but the only way I can see this happening realistically is major strides in all 3 phases of game along with playcalling and coaching.

How far have we fallen as a program ? It’s absolutely breathtaking we can go from the only team in the SEC that consistently plays with Bama to the conference punching bag/laughing stock . I’m not alumni nor do I have season tickets or contribute to TAF so my opinion hardly matters , but I have been an LSU fan since I can remember. I want the best for the student athletes and the program and it’s hard to watch the current staff /administration run this dumpster fire off the side of a cliff .

I was extremely displeased with the O hire and my instincts have been proven correct I guess . All of my friends couldn’t understand why I was unhappy and preached the “ hes one of us “ aspect and I quit fighting it. I agreed to give O a chance but I believe that chance is damaging the program for years to come.

How long will it take to rebuild after this shite show ends ? I still really like Aranda , I don’t feel he’s part of the problem but coach O and Canada are not part of the solution and I absolutely know this. I still cannot believe we are a collegiate program without a special teams coach . That right there should tell you something about Os judgment .

LSU needs a fresh start, a new AD who isn't afraid to hire a younger guy with a lot of promise. Let him build up and redefine LSU football. This route will take time, but can pay off in a couple of years.

Lol , touché .

Fixed.

Realistically we would have to improve ALOT to go 7-5 even .

All of these hypotheticals are useless right now. We just lost to Troy. Until this teams proves they can beat somebody worth a shite, hypotheticals like this are not even worth entertaining.

Im confused, we do only have 2 losses right now, right? Plus 2 more (UA/AU) would = 4?

I stop reading at this point. These hypotheticals are just that. I would believe you if we had a solid coach here like a Mullen, or Gundy etc trying to change the team identity. Your posts would hold credence if that is the case. But in reality we have O.. What gives you any indication that LSU will run the table minus the Bama and Auburn Game? The issue goes way beyond the depth issue which I have put into perspective. It's a complete fundamental breakdown in preparation, film room, team meeting sessions, position meetings, to the practices that were shorten but made worse. If O wants to shorten practices like Saban does, at least make them impactful as you can. O looks like a whipped dog on the sidelines, lost and out of his element. I love O in the DL position role. He is completely himself coaching the big uglies and is a good niche recruiter, but never as the general running the LSU football program.

True , as I said my opinion hardly matters but it’s unbelievable how 1 man can effect a program so quickly .

I don’t really think it will happen but Flordia is a bad team that just lost there QB , Tennessee is pretty damn bad , Arkansas can be beaten , A and M looks like there usual self.

This team would have to improve and find some leadership but it’s absolutely possible .

I'm inclined to say adios after this season regardless.

Just because Tennessee, Arky and Ole Miss are more of a dumpster fire in your hypothetical, doesn't make O a good coach.

I was on the O bus before the season, but ive seen the light. He is what his record is: below average.

I hope that happens as well, I was absolutely giddy when I saw the report about Tom Herman to LSU but had a feeling Alleva would screw the pooch once again .

And then all we gotta do is minus Miss St and Troy.
Genius!

Tennessee is the only team left on the schedule that LSU could beat. And the only reason why I say that is that the team will probably have completely quit on Butch Jones by that point.

I we loss to Texas A and M I will have a serious melt down . The team that showed up the last 3 weeks would get beaten by A and M but let’s hope guys step up . Honestly once we get Lawrence and Alexander back we are a different team on defense . I feel like the defense will improve as the year goes on but I’m concerned about special team and the offense.
