Doug Moreau- All American WR at LSU 1962: LSU 9-1-1 / 1963 LSU 7-4/ 1964 LSU 8-2-1/ Played for Miami Dolphins; graduated LSU law school/ State District Judge/ EBR District Attorney/ He has always demanded excellence from Asst DAs; knows how to teach, guide, and LEAD, one of toughest jobs in the world-- prosecuting criminals/ Was a tough judge who ran a tight ship/ DOESN'T GET FRUSTRATED UNDER PRESSURE/ doesn't cave in to pressure/ knows how to cut deals/ Loves LSU/Knows football. . . . Knows CONTRACT LAW, . . wouldn't make ridiculous DEALS, . . . like Bob Brodhead, he would DEMAND hard working and intelligent coaches, no matter how famous. When Bob hired Bill Arnsparger, announcing him as one of the most brilliant minds in football, he also stated "if he doesn't get the job done, we will find someone else who will"-- thats the kinda AD Judge Moreau would be. He don't take crap from no one-- believe that.

What about his accent though?
That information is crucial.

If WADE works out...
Alleva is not going anywhere.

I disagree, LSU makes too much on football to let Alleva make another hire.

Yes, Moreau for ADS, Ensminger for OC, Wilson for HC, Mawae for OL coach.
They all talk like us.
It worked well with the Johnny Jones hire!

If you turn an elite football school into an elite basketball school you should be fired because football will always bring in more than basketball.

bullshite Alleva will ride or die with O , and it's not looking good for him.

Wade reached out to us and it appears we got lucky in hiring a solid coach.
God knows alleva would have screwed the pooch if he tried to actually go after wade and hire him.

One good hire in basketball should not save Alleva at all.
Hell, Alleva shouldn't even be around for basketball season.

Not no, but hell no! He’s widely regarded as being one of the “good ole boys” and the last thing LSU needs is one of those running the athletic department. Bring back Dan R. or Herb V. We need an AD who will be aggressive and look after LSU’s best interests. While he’s at it, stop the process of nickel and dimeing the fans for every little thing. LSU’s football game day experience has really suffered under Alleva.

It's his shtick. He's in every Alleva thread making the same post.

Doug is 72 - this is a younger man's game, I would think. Doug is the same age as Skip was, when Skip retired from the AD position.
My #1 candidate is Chris Del Conte (TCU) - 5 COY hires at 5 different sports. I'm telling anyone who will listen - this is the best AD in America, if your goal is to identify, hire and deploy coaches.

How about someone who has had a similar job before?

But has Moreau ever tried to ruin the lives of college kids to white knight for a lying crack whore? Bc that's the leadership LSU looks for.
