I don't understand how even the most hardcore anti-Trump person can find these shows amusing night after night.

I mean, eventually doesn't it get old? It sort of ruins the comedy if you know before the show starts it's just going to be an hour long of Trump sucks for the 100th night in a row.

I can't stand Trump but I really can't watch the liberal BS either. Left-wing comedy has sucked for quite a while now.

As I've posted before, shows like Colbert, Maher, and Jon Stewart are not comedy shows.

They are the left's equivalent of the 700 Club: amen corner gatherings of the faithful who wish to receive the scriptural message in fellowship with other believers.

That can apply to both sides. Doesn't it eventually get old listening to people say "it's the liberals fault", "fake news", "progs hate America", etc? Don't you know before you pull up TD exactly what will be posted here? Yet here you are

Along these lines, it's been incredible tuning in to CNN and MSNBC post this Las Vegas disaster. They're actually reporting the news, if you can imagine that. I know that's a quaint concept to the political hacks on both sides of the aisle, but it's actually been kind of nice not to hear the non-stop Trump bashing.

That said, I'm sure they'll be back to their old ways soon.

Yes. It does.

Part of it though Trump feeds. With a Tweet or line in a speech that’s cringeworthy. People will tune in to see what these guys will say.

Jon Stewart was better than all of them at this though. Of course he and his writers. Apparently he finally got sick of it too.

It would be nice to see a conservative pull off the same formula. All you really have is Bill Maher when he goes on the occasional tear into his own party. But he of course ain’t conservative.
