Because O has a $12M buyout, would it be possible to (1) fire Alleva and replace him with a good AD; (2) retain O as head coach in name only; (3) hire a "Senior Executive Head Coach" or "Chairman of Football Operations" as our actual head coach; and (4) fire O either next year (or year after) and move the "Chairman" into the HC position?

I have no idea if the numbers work but the buyout is so ridiculous LSU might be able to save $4-5M.

Let's demote him to concession stand clerk but still pay him his regular salary.

We have somebody watching him and as soon as he sneaks a coke or some popcorn...BOOM! Fired for cause because he stole, no buyout!
