Can be horror in general, looking for something mainly from authors from other countries. I've read most of Lovecraft, King and Poe
my suggestion: The Halloween Tree
What you got?

General Horror book from the guy that wrote The Howling:
Not a masterpiece or anything, just a solid scary story with an interesting take on Astral Projection
quote:
The Insiders
Clever Alec, Arrogant Roman, Beautiful Lindy. The popular kids at school. They don't know who they hurt. And they don't care.
The Outsider
Frazier, brainy and awkward, the school geek. But he has a special talent —the ability to send his mind on long journeys out of his body. Then one night a prank goes hideously wrong.
Twenty years later Alec, Roman and Lindy are summoned back to their hometown — an invitation they cannot refuse. It is a high school reunion they will never forget...if any of them lives through it.
Not a masterpiece or anything, just a solid scary story with an interesting take on Astral Projection

I would suggest the original Dracula, by Bram Stoker. Excellent read.

I'm reading this right now and it's a really good short read. Only 170 pages.

Think you'll find that Simmons writes a much better ending than King.

Finished it last night. Read IT last month. I agree; I liked Simmons’ ending better than King’s. But both enjoyable reads.
Now I’m reading Simmons’ follow up book- A WINTER HAUNTING. Picks up one of the main kid characters, 41 year’s later. In chapt 3 - so far so good.
