QB wasn't the problem last game and anyone who thinks it was wasn't paying attention.

Except a different QB might be able to handle the OL issues better. Look at the 2 images below from the Advocate. Both times showing plays that COULD have been made, but Etling was unable to find either guy under pressure. Those aren't easy, but they are plays that the better QB's in this league will make to extend drives. Can Brennan do that? I have no idea, but we won't know until he tries.

Look at the second pic again. The fact that anyone thinks that a QB rolling right as fast as he can make a late throw over the middle is just goofy. AR with GB may be the only QB in the country that could make that throw.

Pic one was terrible play by Etling, the PA sucked everyone up, they had to be looking for Ducre or Chark to be wide open. DE must be quicker getting his feet set.

Also in that second pic, Etling would have had to throw across his body and back over the middle. Aren't QBs at every level taught not to do that?

Lol. He threw 6 passes. He had one pick, and should have had a pick 6. You guys are unreal.

On both those plays Etling was PRESSURED, big change. When you dont have time to sit back and scan for a seconds you're usually not going to find an open guy near as well. In the first photo Etling is JUST getting his feet set starting to scan the field and an edge rusher is about to hit in in a second. In the second photo he was flushed out of the pocket due to pressure and it's inane to think he's going to look ACROSS the opposite side of the field for a guy that's open, also, coaches ALWAYS teach you to NEVER throw back across the field unless it's a designed play. So why would he throw it him in that situation? Neither of those are good examples. Both plays he was pressured very quickly and the second one in particular would be a horrible throw to make, as again, you dont throw back across the field across your body.
