And yet I still see none of you bitching about all the people in the stands who aren't paying attention when the anthem is playing.
Nobody bitches about the folks who are still finding their seats, still wearing their hats, playing on their phones, going to the bathroom, buying beer and food, or wandering around the stadium while the anthem is playing. You see it at every single sporting from high school all the way up to the pros and somehow that's no big deal.
Also, what are you all doing when the anthem is playing when you are watching at home? Oh yea thats right. You are sitting you arse on your couch, prepping some gameday food, cracking a beer, talking to your buddies, and posting on TD how
you are about a 2 minute silent protest that somehow causes you to be incapable of enjoying a game for the next 4 hours.

They're also the people who scream at the guy who is singing the anthem but forgot to take off his cap.

Thank you, Ive always felt like this. If honoring the national anthem was such a big deal. Then everyone in the room, yes while watching tv. Should stop and observe and pay respect. Instead, we talk, laugh and post on TD how terrible of a singer they are.
