Mississippi state has a total of 1 five star on their team and 14 4 stars. Based on 247

Where are their lack of talent arguments?

Having 1 five star is different than having depth. Gilmore and Lac played all but one series against Mississippi st. We have to face the fact we don't have depth in important positions.

Who said we lack talent?

In 4Q of MSU game we had 4 active d lineman who could play. Thats a depth issue not a talent issue.

You wont find many. The one thing state has is big core in the trenches. Those guys typically don't get ranked high with stars but the return on a big core is huge. LSU is loaded with skill players which pushes the talent rankings heavily in LSU's favor. The o-line vaccum is all on O. The new media narrative this weeks does a few things. First it builds O some fresh equity while trying to help save face. Secondly, it builds in a default excuse if this season continues to go South.

When will you mouth breathers realize that

1) stars don't mean shite once you actually get to college.

2) having a bunch of 4 and 5 star skill players doesn't help us on the line.
