I eat squirrels but didn't care for nutria. To watery is how I would describe it. There was a big push about ten years ago but never caught on.

bro, you could wrap a turd in bacon and it would probably taste great. Thats cause bacon is heaven. Not the nutria.

I've eaten nutria enough to know that if given the choice between it and beef, I'm choosing beef. Yes, the nutria is good. But its not good enough to overcome the stigma associated with it.
Horse and dog is also (supposedly) very good, but people don't want to eat them in this country. Same for insects.
