I couldn't imagine waking up everyday and feeling compelled to defend someone no matter what he says. The guy embarrasses himself on a daily basis and yet his base...guys like you declare victory every time he speaks. Simply amazing.

I hate what NSA has become, but I also realize it's never going to change. The politicians have too much to lose.

For 12 years, under both the Bush and Obama Administrations, the NSA was collecting information that, if retained, would break the law.

But under the current presiding judge, overseeing the plans of the Trump Administration, NSA will be allowed to keep such data, a change from her three predecessors.

what a hack job.

So let me understand....the last 3 presidents have been violating the law and they have been illegally keeping the data.

but NOW, NOW, a judge says they can LEGALLY keep it...and its Trumps fault?

thats some neo-liberal spin.

Dude. You can trust the glass-eyed dorks at NSA. You trust me, right? I can vouch for them.

So a lot of porn-watching nerds know what kind of porn you watch. Believe me, they can't judge.

Did anyone really believe they simply ditched all data illegally found?

The people I really pity are the ones who actually believe in the justifications of the surveillance state.

His administration suggested it to the judge. As the executive, Trump could have easily taken a tougher stance and demanded the data be deleted. shite, the entire NSA exists due to executive order, in theory he could abolish it with a pen. Instead he proposed a looser standard which the judge accepted.

nowhere in your article does it say that.

I noticed you avoided both W and O keeping this illegal data for over a decade...but it;s trumps fault.

Do the bigger words in the article make it "neo-lib" and make you think it;s not just another hack article?
