So everything I listed wasn't a fact? And we just didn't come off of a 30 point loss? And after such loss we still toying around with Jacoby and Guice posting Range Rover pics? But saying a collapse, which to me would be equal or more losses as last year (4) is beyond the pale.
I think you need to go over the difference between facts and opinions.

Love that Jacoby is getting looks at HB. I would rather Canada give him jet sweeps and shovel passes than Moreau. Canada has put wr's there before so it's not something new like many think. I like him at S but he was listed as an athlete for much of his HS career. Played both sides of the ball and was a WR during UAAA game & practice week where he was raved about. Battle Paris and grant can handle safety position untill jacoby goes back. If he even does. He has that tweener type build. He could probably play WR S or RB. At 6-1 215lbs he reminds me of debo Samuel at USC. I think he can be as dynamic. Maybe not quite the speed but in the ball park.

You should apply to a head coaching position with all your infinite wisdom. The big universities would love to hire the likes of you. Heck Saban would likely forfeit the game knowing he would have to face someone like you running a major program.

Ed Paris shouldn't have been playing. Last couple years he's had no reps or meaningful game time and it showed. For us to have the #1 safety and every week he's in a new position but safety is mismanagement.
This is hilarious.
1) you don't want to play Ed Paris because he hasn't had many game reps but I'll assume that you want to play Stevens or Delpit instead who have even less experience
2) just because Jacoby was rated the #1 safety by third party recruiting sites doesn't mean dick. Delpit>Stevens at safety. At least right now. Rankings have a lot to do with ceilings and while Stevens has a high ceiling, he is raw as a safety.
Edit: my 1000th post

Yes I would rather play 2 stud freshmen over Paris. Ed Paris played terrible. Grant Delpit is the only safety who deserves guaranteed playing time.
Posted on 9/21/17 at 4:58 pm to keepitrealgoeswrong
It's not that you want them to play, that's fine. Delpit is a stud.
The laughable part is your reasoning. You don't think Ed should play because he doesn't have enough game reps. Well if that's the reason why Ed shouldn't play then Delpit and Stevens are even worse options as they have literally no experience at all and didn't even get to play in mop up duty for the last 4 years.

Some players are just better than others. Some players need reps in practice and meaningful ones in game to develop further to close talent gaps. Paris, Battle and others simply didn't have reps the past couple years behind Jamal Adams and Ricky Jefferson. Sometimes a 5 Star freshman can come in and be better than established players.
Perfect example: Jai Eugene. He was terrible and for the longest Les Miles refused to bench him. It took him getting LIT up by AJ Green of UGA for them to say "hey I know he's a freshman but let's start Patrick Peterson". Is that not a true story? Name one day in which Jai Eugene was ever better than Patrick Peterson?
The safeties who played thus far has had a shot. No matter what they say on twitter, game film don't lie.

All that is fine and dandy but it's not what you said.
Your statement should have been that Paris shouldn't be playing because the freshman are better.
Instead you chose to claim the reason Paris shouldn't be playing is lack of game reps. Which is laughable.
He could have been a 3 year starter and he still should be benched in favor of Delpit because Delpit is better. Reps have nothing to do with it in this case.

1990's Tennessee come to mind?
Fulmer a long tenured coach with 3 SEC titles and and a national title canned by Tennessee after a 9-3 and 8-4 season (or something like that). They haven't been relevant since. This is where we are. And not Bc we fired Miles. Bc we botched the fricking hire. We will have to deal with it. We won't be bottom dwellers but we won't be top 10-15 either. 16-25 every year with a nice bowl for a while longer.

Your opinions and facts are not necessarily the same thing. You are certainly entitled to your opinions, as is everyone else who posts here, but that doesn't make them facts.

Should not be "experimenting" with a player of his talent at this point. Starting to show that the coaches are indecisive and do not know what to do with some of the talent.
Posted on 9/21/17 at 6:17 pm to PUB
If we shouldn't be experimenting with a player as a freshman, then when is the time?
Should we wait until he wins the starting safety job and see if he can play WR then?
This is EXACTLY the time to experiment with an athlete of this caliber.

Well I stopped reading when I
saw you had 17 posts. Obvious alter here (and more than likely NOT an LSU fan) just trolling. GTFO and DIAMFF.

If he wins the safety job, he should be playing safety. Apparently, the WR experiment did not work despite the apparent void and now he is at TE/RB?

Sorry to burst your (and others) bubble but I'm not a troll. 34 years old, 25 years following lsu since my older brother at the time enrolled as a student. Been reading the boards here only during games for about 2 years. Created an account after the spring game with a prediction about Lindsey Scott, which was proven right. First I visited this site since was in superdome, game 1, seeking to see if others felt Guice had a ton of carries first half as I thought. Had my first road SEC experience in Starkville, for which I tried to recover my old account for which I literally posted once about and couldn't so I created this new one. My first post was one that divided blame but was more optimistic, even stating that I felt O was smart enough to know he had to make changes. Then came yesterday where our star RB flexing with a Range Rover and we experimenting with an elite athlete. So I started this thread for obvious reasons. So sorry to disappoint but not a troll.

That's why it's called an experiment, you try to see if it'll work.
