The Mick on fox - is it worth a damn?

i have a category of tv shows that i watch while eating lunch or dinner if i'm solo. the sort of stupid/silly 30 minute comedy that's enjoyable and doesn't require too much attention (i.e. new girl, brooklyn 99, you're the worst, broad city, etc.)

would you say the mick falls into this category? i wouldn't have given it a second thought, but i saw it was renewed for a second season. thought for sure it would have been cancelled after seeing trailers for the first season.
