probably would have had a shot even then to take advantage of the Mike Gundy/T. Boone Pickens beef IMO.

Orgeron - the negas don't get it - they got Miles fired and the only real choice was O.

Why? Because the AD doesn't want to negotiate and doesn't want to bid for talent.

So, knowing that, do you still want O fired now to be replaced by someone that Alleva doesn't bid for or negotiate with?

FFS - I and many others have pleaded for cooler heads - that's obviously beyond our collective capacity, so let's burn it all down. Fire everyone in the athletic department and replace each person 1 at a time.

All I know for sure is it wouldn't have changed anything with the decision on Les. LSU was losing at half when Alleva was told he no longer has balls and Les was staying.

Should have been Jimbo win or lose that day.

Alleva really screwed things up.

Bobby Jindal would not let LSU fire Miles. Did not want to face the buyout provision.

I think we probably would fired Miles then and there, and hired an offensive guru: the "thinking man's quarterback", Steve Ensminger.
