i didn't say we should do that
but that doesn't eliminate the fact that hiring O was a complete and utter disaster and any fan who supported the hire before it was made should feel terrible and accept the blame for the crash of the LSU program. those people wanted O, so they have to live with the results. i hope they apologize to the real fans when this abortion is over

the only things worse than the actual hire were:
1. the manner in which the hire was made
2. the contract "negotiation" that lead to O being given a $12 million buyout.
It's a scary time to be an LSU fan.

It's amazing anyone trying to rationalize O as anything but a disastrous hire.
He had one non-interim head coaching gig. He failed at historic levels even at a program that has been terrible for decades. He then tried to assuage fears not by claiming he had learned the necessary skills to succeed as a head coach that brings legit coaching prowess to the role, but rather that he learned he was so bad that any success is dependent on other coaches on the staff. This, of course, thereby necessitates an endless string of elite, performing hires when the previous inevitably moves on.
The model is retarded and everyone who can't understand that is either naturally unintelligent or willfully ignorant.

Good to know that you being right is the most important thing. I didn't want coach O but he is who we have. There's literally no point in all of this bull shite. We lost. Get over it. He's still gonna be here and there's nothing anyone of us can do about it.
