Yesterday, coach O stated that he knew we were in for a rough game at state because of how lethargic practices were last week. This is very concerning to me because he based his whole reputation on keeping the energy high with this program. Only three games in and the energy is gone.

The guy is basically admitting to us he's failing in one of his few duties and people don't want to admit what they're seeing.

I watched one of his locker room pep talks, might have been at half or before one of the earlier games. The team so tuned out it was terrible. Wish I had link to share, it may have been a link at bottom of TD.

Anyway, ole O says "how many minutes do we play?" and team mumbles "60". "How many?", "60". The least enthusiastic shite I've ever heard. That might sound minor but you could tell he does not have this team motivated or believing.

Right on Point. Neither Alleva nor Alexander have any business being employed at LSU let alone being paid a million to run the academic and athletic programs into the ground.
Sad part is that the Board of Supervisors is not going to do anything about either of them except give them raises and contract extensions.

where is the Ed O that would do shirtless pushups in homes of recruits? where is the Ed O who would drink 4-5 redbulls a day? If we are going to go 8-4/7-5 I at least want to see some action and fire from Ed O

That version or Orgeron lost a lot of games.

Look at what this former player said after Orgeron famously challenged his players to fight him.

quote:

"It was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in my life," a former player told me. "I mean, we had plenty of guys on that team from some really bad places. Any other situation and some guy like that taking his shirt off and talking shite to those players, he would’ve been jumped or shot or both. I still can’t figure out if he knew that, that no one would try and fight their new head coach. He was such an a-hole."

Orgeron article

So that version of Orgeron doesn't work. Now he's trying to be the complete opposite, calm cool and collected. But players know a phony when they see it and they don't respect it.

Guy is just not cut out for this.

But Ruffin said high energy though

Don't forget the people in the coup and all out media blitz that delivered the job to Orgeron.

Ruffin Rodrigue, T-Bob and Bobby Hebert, Jordy Cullotta Derek Ponamsky, Mike Detillier, and the Guaranty Media people (Not Hanny or Ott). I never yelled frick you at my radio until I started hearing their propoganda and spin during the search.
