How long has it been since Gruden coached? How many jobs has he been mentioned for?
The man doesn't want to coach anymore.

I thought maybe he had a son or cousin or something...??

A long time ago, you could have changed the name from Gruden to Vermeil and if the Rams had decided that ole Dick had just been away too long, they would have never had their Super Bowl. I think that both Gruden and Cowher have stayed involved in the game in other ways and if they chose to come back, they could have success. Possibly even more so because they have been observing the league and how it has changed for the better and worse from a different perspective than a coach that is in the middle of improving the players in front of him on a daily basis.
