Fehoko and shelvin will definitely help next year.

Don't forget the Big Kid out of Ferriday La Dare Rosenthal 6'7" 320
I think he is a OT (Alabama did too which probably why he decomitted from them) but he wants to play DT.

Yep we need depth there at DE and at the MLB spot. I know we have some guys committed but they seem to be more outside guys who are more quick then they are big run stoppers. We simply need to get bigger up the middle, and that's all there is to it really.

We need more quality depth at the safety position behind the freshman and at DB, QB, and OT. If O can shore up these areas and add quality depth behind them LSU will be just fine. I think LSU has to put more emphasis on smarter players at the same time. We can't always end up with the 4* players who have no smarts, awareness, and that drive to be great. Ususally the smarter guys have a tendency to get better in their game.

Juco ranks have been good to the SEC at places like State, Ole Miss, and even Bama. It's time LSU goes after these big time guys as well, specifically the ones who have high character and have learned from what ever was holding them down to begin with.

I'm also not sure if making the players who commit penalties run, instead of work on their short comings with that extra time, is the way to go. Make those guys perform extra reps in practice, perfect high energy reps, so that you simulate game speed best. I just don't know if I would be spending time on running instead of perfecting their craft or mistakes they made. It absolutely needs to be emphasized, as TOs were, which seems to be working, so whatever you did for TOs, do the same for penalties.

Penalties hurt very similar to how TOs do so that needs to be made clear to cut it the frick out. What ever you do, play your assignment with 110% effort, don't be lazy, trust your teammate to do his job, and what ever you do DON'T commit a penalty. If you're unsure, simply slow the guy down with your body instead of your limbs, put freakn boxing gloves on these guys so that it's impossible to use their hands or fingered. They have to punch, and it's muscle memory so should have an immediate impact.

Think outside the damn box LSU. Do what ever it takes, get our own props out there on the sideline or get some bad arse tiger paw or tiger teeth helmet stickers for great plays like, TFL, TOs, great blocks, 3rd down conversions, TDs, tip balls, strips, ect. Give them extra incentive to make these great plays as well as making them pay for bad ones. Make it fun for these guys, it's college, they are boys, they are working hard, reward them with something tangible. Time to get creative Orgeron, NEVER squeeze the team without also giving them room to grow. Show them you care by thinking of them, with these little things that make a huge difference. GT
