11-1 it's possible

Doubtful

But

I do believe MSU game was more of a fluke than true gauge of this team.

Exactly, I haven't seen this team play this bad since O took over and all of a sudden everyone wants to fire him?

If it's a consistent thing I would understand but it's hardly a constant for the teams he's put on the field lately. There were tons of mistakes, across the board, top to bottom and it just snow balled, especially when you add in the penalties. They just felt that nothing they did was good enough. At some point they just felt like what's the point, nothing they did was going to work.

They came out in the second half playing better on the DL and then boom more flags start flying. This staff really needs to get through to these guys that flags are the worst thing in a game and if you can play a game without them we would likely win those games. Make them believe that flags are equal to TOs because it's close. They kill momentum, kill drives, take points off the board, keep drives going, gives you terrible field position, gives momentum to the opposing team and gives easy yards/points to the opposing team.

With all that being said I think these refs are holding LSU to a higher standard then any other team which is horse shite. If I were coach O, I would grab a GA to look closely at film to see how big of a gap there is from penalties called on LSU and at what points in the game and the opposing team we are playing. Then I would also have them look at every other SEC game to compare what's being called and not called at what point in the game as compared to LSU. It has to be looked at closely by someone then put the data together and send it off to the league then if the league doesn't do anything about it, send it off to local and national media who give a damn about kids working their tails off only to be treated unfairly. It's not right.

These people need to treat every damn team equally no matter what, that's there frickn jobs. If the foul isn't obvious, doesn't affect the play, or is borderline, every team should get the benefit of the doubt. It's freakn bullshite that some teams are overlooked simply by the refs pre-determined opinion of them or their name.

At the same time though LSU needs to use better technique during the game and NEVER commit the penalty, learn your options if you're getting beat. There are things you can do besides hold. When you're blocking never block in the back or hold the guy, put your body in his way before you hold or block in the back. More emphasis needs to be put on it and when adversity hits this team they need to learn how to fight through it to overcome that adversity. NEVER give in, give up or show weakness to the other team bc they will smell blood and come at you even harder. Time to step up LSU, time to show what your made of. There are plenty more opportunity, let's take full advantage and not take anything lightly. Do everything 110%. Stop self loathing, stop feeling sorry for yourselves, man up, get up, and fight back.
