aTm is faster than you, so why would you throw the ball to the outside, behind the line of scrimmage?

Only reason would be to spread the defense out to setup running room later out of the same formations

HORIZONTAL STRETCH CONCEPT. have to try to make them defend whole field. wide and deep. then gouge vertically. now if TAMU is so fast they can get outside without fanning out LB's and moving up safeties on outside then yes the cajuns will have to mainly be vertical but you have to try to keep them honest to help other plays. have to adjust.
