Beacause auburn has played clemson, florida has played michigan, bama played fla st, and uga has played notre dame. Theyve all played a game that could be used as a measuring stick to see where they are at this season

We have not
That's the point I think. Of the teams that might challenge in Atlanta we're the only one who hasn't played a ranked team.

So legitimately, at this point, it's still a wait and see approach to us.

UF failed their test, AU was identified as having more work to do than originally thought, UGA got it done with a freshman QB and what appears to be a top notch D, Bama beat #3 and O looks sorta shakey, but good enough if improve through year.

If BYU had curb stomped Utah, it might be a little different perspective by ESPN. But they didn't. That's why the games are played- prove it.
