First, Pierre I was never tied to rape, he had more of a serial killer in a series of scary movies vibe. Second, I'd argue the exact opposite of what you're arguing. If King Cake Baby is ok they should have never gotten rid of Pierre I. They should have at least replaced him instead of surgically altering him so he could be brought out for special occasions like Halloween and Mardi Gras.
Normally I think mascots are stupid, but I actually miss Pierre I. He was unique in the mascot world.

How about this for a plot twist: at the end of the movie she finally removes king cake baby's mask and it's Pierre I underneath.

OG Pierre was amazing. Combined with KCB we had the best mascots in all of sports. Surgically altered Pierre is an abomination and should be deleted from this world.
