but it seems like you'd like to keep offensive things off of YouTube. You realize that is the crux of the issue, right? When someone makes a decision on what is or isn't "offensive", the inherent subjectivity causes big problems down the line.
Hanging a kid crosses all lines. There are certain things that off limits

So if I make a rap video that includes hanging a black toddler, it's still art right?
Art: "the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."
technically, yes through it be a bit contrived considering that you were only doing it to get back at someone else for making a similar video. Thusly, it would be considered derivative and petty nut its your life.

You know I really shouldn't do that but when somebody goes around and starts trying to incite anger in people over a simple piece of art, they are kind of asking for it.

There are no limits for "artists" when their "art" is admired by leftists.
We all know the backlash had a white "artist" hung a black child. Getting through the double standard obstacle has been powerful for the SJW crowd.

So you're in the camp of limiting freedom of expression? Are you sure you've fully thought this through, bud?

It's rather telling that none of the proggies are responding to this.

It's all they have.
Anybody calling a hanging of any kid, regardless of color, ART should be ashamed. To defend this should be embarrassing.

That's not art. It may call itself art and hide behind the label of art, but it's not art.

Your question is stupid. That's why no one is responding to it.

Fair enough. How about a I just drag a black toddler behind a car instead? Or maybe just act like I'm beating them?
I'm sure that would be deemed acceptable as art and not censored by YouTube correct?

It's not art. It's being controversial for attention. And it worked.

I made the mistake of listening to the hip-hop radio station on iTunes music the other day.
A song called BlackBoy/WhiteBoy played. It was straight fictional anti-white propaganda.
This is where you lie to yourself that none of this matters.

It wouldn't be art either. It'd be just as stupid.

No, it simply points out the massive double standard held by progressives.
Hang a white toddler = art
hang a black toddler = racist hate crime

Lol you guys are fricking dolts. It's art. He was making a point about murder being wrong either way and then use some imagery to reverse roles so that it still mattered to us. I didn't say it was good art but it is art none the less. I'm sorry that you guys are so literal that you can't understand even the simplest of imagery or symbolism
So everyone would be cool then with Charlie Daniels (or, pick someone) making a video with a mass lychin' of black dudes for a song called "The Good 'Ole Days" and then claiming that it is "art", nothing more, nothing less ?
I SERIOUSLY doubt it.

you know they didn't actually hang a white kid, right?

I'm sure you'd get flagged on YouTube just like the video in the OP. People would have varying opinions on your hypothetical video, too. I'd still support your right to make that video because I believe in freedom of speech and expression.

Like statues?
When that video is an advocate for, and perpetrator of, enslaving a race or responsible for hundreds of thousands of U.S. soldiers dying, maybe we can talk.
