Is she staying where you live at now for college? Get her an apt now. You can be gone. She can live there alone. You come visit whenever. When I was a sophomore they had a jr from Africa. Blackest guy I've ever seen. Anyway, his parents must have been loaded. They were still on the other side of the world he had a car and lived by himself in a place that they paid for at 17. Brah we got hammered at this kids. He made really good grades though. How much does she drink? Is she responsible ?

I moved into an apartment alone out of state from my parents in he first week August a few days before I turned 17 years old to start my senior year of High School. Being my own guardian I was able to go to school a full day for half a year and finish in Dec and allowed me to enroll in college that January...... it was a bitch trying to work to pay bills, party like a college student, but be in homeroom before the tardy bell in the mornings m-f though...

And I turned out fairly well wounded

Good luck OP, moving a kid in HS in their most formative years when they are building friendships and finding themselves can really frick'me up
