Speaking with the Financial Times about the Super NES Classic Edition, Reggie confirmed that Nintendo has dramatically increased production for the Super NES Classic Edition and, as such, there shouldn’t be too many problems getting a unit at launch. He also added that customers shouldn’t pay more than $80 for the console on any auction site.

I would strongly urge you not to over-bid on an SNES Classic on any of the auction sites . . . You shouldn’t [have to] pay more than $79.99"

The Super NES Classic Edition launches in just a few days in all regions. The console will come with some of the best games ever released for the 16-bit console, such as Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy III, and many others. Also included is the never released before Star Fox 2.

Next summer, Nintendo will also bring back the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition system with new shipments.

Good on you, Nintendo. Sitting on this cash cow, it was just insane to leave that much money on the table for something that can't be all that involved to produce. Plus, LOTS of people really want these.

Give me Switch VC console already. With the metroid game coming out friday it really got me wanting to play the prime trilogy.

I'd buy that shite on VC (among many others) in a heartbeat. Instead I've downloaded it on my surface pro, hooked it up to the big screen and started a game with my dualshock4 last night.

Nintendo is throwing away money not having the VC, and it looks like they'd rather put these out instead.

I know this isn't quite on topic, but don't know if I should start a thread on it or not.

Anyways, is there a market for NES games? I have 15 of them. Looked them up online about a week ago and most range from $20-$30. A few from $5-$10, all based just on one site I looked at. I've kept them in my house forever, have no clue why.

Anyways, just curious bc I have no use for them and figured maybe someone would.

So who's picking up one of these suckers tomorrow? I'm going to try but reasonably. If the other nerds outnerd me and are waiting in line for hours at all locations then oh frigging well I guess. Hoping I can slide into wal mart and nab one though.
