I love that they get little details right: like everything to do with Jason Siegel's character. NEVER screw with the normal looking guy hanging out with a bunch of punks in the 80s. That dude is insane. But also the moving between the tribes bit, and how fluid the groups were (his best friend outside the core being a goth and probably a fan of Echo and the Bunnymen).
Clerks. Just perfect encapsulation of aimlessness. It is the 90s slacker film except maybe, well, Slacker.
