I really don't understand idiots who don't think this shite out. The storm isn't permanent and this backlash is going to last a lot longer than the storm.

I gotta think Pizza Hut won't be firing "experienced" employees due to evacuation snafus.

You have to give some guidelines to employees or else you have no recourse.

I have a feeling many employees would tell the Pizza Hut to piss off and go to work at one of the other 20 chain pizza establishments

Doesn't really seem that egregious to me. They are trying to set expectations for what they need from their employees.

If they don't like it, then quit.

That would be over the top in SW Florida, but I don't see a problem in Jacksonville.

I don't really see the issue here, they aren't in key west or Miami

It's good to have order and know what's expected. Storms are inconveniences not vacations.

I guess I'm missing why this memo is out of line.

To be fair, that isn't Pizza Hut. It is the franchise owner.

Person who made that letter believes in price gouging during disasters too.

I kept reading the memo waiting to reach some outlandish part. But it never happened.

Seemed pretty reasonable to me.

In that case, I'll take a large stuffed-crust pepperoni.
