HOw does this college not get sued the frick out itself for violating Title IX? That's a serious question.


I'm not saying I oppose an all woman's college, in fact I think every institution should be able to discriminate as they see fit, but that isn't the world we live in.

It isnt discriminating against anyone though, unless of course you are a male. But even then that's not the case, as Morehouse, an all male university is literally right across the street. The two schools basically have the same curriculum. Spelman provides cheerleaders for the Morehouse football team, etc. The only reason the two schools have not joined is because of tradition.

Doesn't Title IX only apply to federal funding? I think if they are a fully private then they can do whatever they like.

Title IX only applies to schools that accept federal funds. Maybe they don't?
