6 DATs in a row; 6 wins in a row. Dare I say that we are streaking?

I'm hoping we see a glimpse of April/May LMJ

Well I'm rolling on two hours of sleep after last nights game. Needless to say I'll be sitting this one out. Hope to wake up to a win tomorrow. In my younger years I could make back to Back nights of no sleep but 28 doesn't allow it.

How glorious was JV last night.... that's what I like to see

As hinch said in his post game-that sixth inning was worth the price of admission (or worth the late night+early morning for those of us back home)
Verlander post game said in regards to hitting 99 on the last pitch "I really wanted to hit 100"

I'm so happy we won on Verlander day last night.

I thoroughly enjoyed Verlander, but for those who missed it, Giles was about as close to unhittable as a pitcher can get. His slider was filthy and his fastball was explosive.
Giles struck out the first 2 batters, then got 0-2 on the 3rd batter (Gamel). Gamel was expecting something down and away on the 0-2 pitch, but Giles blasted a 100mph fastball right down the middle of the plate for strike 3. It left Gamel mumbling to himself afterwards...
Giles final out

Giles has taken a huge step. Lately. That was filthiness. We need to get Harris back to dependability so we can have Musgrove... Devo... Harris... Giles.
If mccullers can't go more than 4 innings I say move him to the pen for the rest of the year.

Giles since July 1:
.74 ERA/1.45 FIP
41.9% K

Can Cleveland maybe chill out a little bit?
Posted on 9/6/17 at 12:38 pm to Tiger Ryno
Devo seems to have come out of his funk as well

Cleveland
But at least most of their streak has come when we've seemingly gotten our shite back together. We'd be in trouble if we were playing like we were a few weeks back.

Since we have nothing better to do for the next 8 hours, care to speculate on the 25-man post-season roster? I know it can be hard at this point because they can change it from series to series.
My list is below...this is a LOT harder than it looks, at least in my opinion.
IF everyone stays healthy, here is how I see it:
Pitchers
1) Keuchel
2) Verlander
3) McCullers
4) McHugh
5) Giles
6) Devenski
7) Harris
8) Musgrove
9) Clippard
10) Gregerson
11) Liriano (only because he pitches with his left arm)
12) Peacock/Morton
Position players
1) Correa
2) Altuve
3) Bregman
4) Gurriel
5) Beltran
6) Gonzalez
7) Springer
8) Reddick
9) Gattis
10) McCann
11) Maybin
12) Marisnick
13) Someone from White/Fisher/Kemp
Noticeably absent from discussion: Fiers, Sipp, Davis.
Questions: Will they go with 11 or 12 pitchers? Which starter gets left out? I put Peacock/Morton together, but I would think Peacock would get the nod since he has started and relieved. If they go with a 4 man rotation, it has to be Keuchel/Verlander/McCullers (IF he gets his shite together) and McHugh, right?
I left Fiers off...I just can't see who he should replace out of the group I listed above.
There seems to be an over-abundance of right handed short relievers, but I couldn't see leaving any of them off.
Is Maybin a lock due to his performance since coming over? Can Maybin and Marisinick fit on the same roster? I think they are both almost the same player...right handed, lots of speed, great defense, and occasionally they will run into one and hit it a long way.
And I can't decided among Fisher, White, and Kemp. White and Kemp give you the utility infielder, while Fisher gives you a left-handed bat, but Maybin might have taken his spot.

I don't think Sipp has pitched since he returned but I'd like to see him get some opportunities and see if he's pitching any better. Liriano hasn't done shite to lock up the job either so throw Sipp back into the competition and see if he can contribute. Liriano's control issues combined with his lack of strikeouts concerns me. He's not a true reliever, he seemingly hasn't adjusted to the role and I really don't trust him in a post season setting.
9.1IP 13H 8 walks 4 strikeouts.
If I'm Hinch, knowing I need a lefty I'm giving Sipp an opportunity to show he belongs. At the least, you know he can be a competent left handed reliever. Liriano has never shown that.

I'll allow it.
I wouldn't mind having the last 3 weeks of the season be like an "audition" for the role of lefty out of the pen. That being said, I have no idea what Sipp's prognosis is.
