Yep. Works well. Easier and more secure than ratchet straps.

It's a little heavy if you carry it around fully assembled, but that's not really a big deal.

I thought about getting one for loading my four-wheeler in the bed of my truck, but I decided to just get a heavy duty 5'x8' trailer instead. I haven't found many negative things said about them, though, and I did a good bit of researching online reviews and whatnot.

That looks like a stout system.

I see lots of people with 4-wheelers and shooting carts using little 1" nylon tie-down straps. In a serious (or semi-serious) wreck, those straps will pop like rubber bands.

I was rear-ended once (maybe 10 mph impact) while towing a BBB. I had 2" nylon straps that I had bought from Cabelas (supposedly rated at 2000 lbs). The ratchet on one of them failed (sheared) completely. I later learned that the hardware (ratchet) is usually the weak link in tie-down straps.

Now I use these: LINK The strap and the hardware are both rated at 20,000 lbs. breaking strength, and the "working load limit" is 5670 lbs. The straps are longer than what I needed, so I just cut the excess off one end of the strap.

I'm gonna look into the Guard Dog system to see what it's rated at and how much room it requires at the front & rear of the trailer.

Ordered one and used it for a year or so before I bought a trailer. Works very very well. Took a while to actually trust not using a couple straps but it's not gonna move at all. I need to put this one on la sportsman to get rid of it I guess.

I've got one.

It works great.

I only bought it because my previous truck had a retrax cover and a four wheeler won't fit(tailgate closed), and my new truck has a bak flip g2 and it won't fit in there either(tailgate closed), so it gets a lot of use during hunting season.
