I just can't get into explaining how their are defined roles in an offense to you again, man. I can't do it.
You mean the ex college QB? Or the 5'8" undrafted castoff Wes Welker who comes in and leads the league in receptions multiple times? You are sleeping if you dont recognize that the common denominator is Tom Brady.

Hogan is certainly in a good position to soak up targets from Brady. Denying that is unwise.

That's a great point. At this point, like I've already said, I think Gronk gets a bigger bump than Hogan after JE's injury.
Although, I bump Hogan, as well.
I'm just on a wait and see right now. Just like I'm not jerking off over K Hunt at this point.
IF the targets are there, he should feast in that role. But you got a lot of new things in those WRs roles in NE right now.
And trying to predict a BB offense is bashing your head against the wall. No doubt, IF Hogan stays healthy he will be fantasy relevant. But calling him a WR2 is jumping the gun.

I never said he was an WR2. I posted a chart showing he put up WR2 averages in games where he saw 60% of the snap. Im not comparing him to Julian Edleman, im comparing him to Julian Edelman's role in the offense.

How many 1000 yard seasons have those guys had compared to Hogan?
Better yet, are ALL of those guys career highs higher than Hogan's?
What happened when Hogan took over for the hurt guy last year?
