Finally got around to finishing Persona 5

The social links were a lot weaker in this one imho. The overall story was really good though.
Getting platinum for this game is stupid rediculous, it's kinda made me sick at my stomach when I looked into it going into ng+
I actually pulled off Max confidants on my first playthrough though, was super pumped about that.
P.S: the trophies I have left is the fight with the twins and compendium completion. I actually got every trophy you can get in one playthrough... sad they the other trophies are tucked behind ng+

Jumped back into the game. I'm on the spaceport right now. Started relationship with Ann. Started to get most of my confidants up.

How does it compare to 4? Only one I played was p4g and loved it

I've already put 160 hours into the game and I will put more. The overall story was better than 4 in my honest opinion - but the social links in this one seemed a little less "fleshed out" - like, there didn't seem to be as much growth from the characters during the course of rank 1-10 as much as their was in p4g.
I remember some of the social links in p4g being completely different people by the end of their journey.. whereas in p5 it just felt like they where the exact same person with a few more "fun" things to their name because they happened to run into you at a super opportune time.
Gameplay was better than p4g - overall story was better than p4g - confidants (social links) were slightly worst than ps4

I started up the ng+ for Horizon briefly and I noticed that it had it's own set of trophies and I still got the platinum for the main playthrough. Persona doesn't do it that way? Little messed up

no it doesn't, and the playtime of Horizon doesn't have ANYTHING on Persona either. At the end of the day, Persona 5 is a Japanese game through and through, they are sick on that island

Even Fallout 4 had it's separate trophy list for the Far Harbor DLC.

ETA My final hour count with Horizon was just over 70, I think. Platinum and everything. Only other thing I could think to do in that game was to discover every campfire and there wasn't enough motivation for that.

After binging some Total War and other stuff, I'm back into P5. I'm also at the Spaceport (about to leave the calling card). I've maxed Ann, Kawakami, Takemi, and Ohya though (a couple non-romantic confidants as well). I have zero shame.

I completed the spaceport. I've maxed Ann, Mishima, the politician, and Kawakami. I'm about to max Takemi. Have Ryuji up to 8.

You need to Max out the politician and Mishima asap fwiw

I for some reason stopped playing after the first castle and haven't gotten back into it yet. Seems like this happened to a lot of people. I really enjoyed what I've played so far but I think I just got overwhelmed with what was in front of me

Don't think I'm going to get all the confidants before the end.
I have all my stats up to rank 4 and there are just a few I can't even interact with yet.
I have 5 maxed out right now.

it wasn't easy. I did my fishing, reading, and video game achievements by saving the game in last October and just rushing through all of them, then going back to the old save point, otherwise I wouldn't have made it (I got my last level 10 confidant on the 2nd to last day you could hang out with confidants)
I also knew about the futaba saying 250 lines (you guys are about to be at the point I finished this one) - you will get a new party member in November that can give you something like 20 new lines which helps for this achievement.

Politician was maxed a couple months ago. I'm at rank 6 or 7 for Mishima. I also rushed Fortune to 7 so that I could do affinity readings. I haven't unlocked Haru's confidant, but every other one I can level is at least 5.

P.S: I'm up to 25 Hours played in Rabbids and 95 Hours played in Splatoon 2 - I love this g'damn console
