There's one on Caney for $300k that's pretty solid. And my criteria are based off of that lake.
Only problem with Caney is it's 4h15min from the house.
I wonder what's the rental situation up there (like if you could go more expensive but then rent it out a bit).

Not my purchase, but a 4 hour one way haul would for sure cut into my use of the place. Good friend of mine has a Ranch in Texas roughly the same distance from where we live, and you almost need to take vacation to make a trip there that isn't a complete rush.

Lake fields in Lockport. Don't know if you want to drive a vehicle to the camp, cause that is not possible.

I'm heard from numerous camp owners on Caney lake that there is only 1 camp on the entire lake that offers to be rented out...don't know how true it is tho
