Will LSU start both of them as OLBers? Have two pass rushers and have two OLBers who can run sideline to sideline?

Im sure they will both be on the field for some snaps but Corey Thompson will be the primary F linebacker this year I'm sure. Hes a 5th year senior and looked very good last night.

Corey looked like our best pass rusher last night. Think he and Key will be lights out. Rotate Chaisson with key IMO, and divinity with Thompson

they play different positions. Key and KLC are buck LBers. Thompson plays the more traditional OLB role

Key doesn't rotate with anyone when he's healthy. I'm excited about chaisson but he's nothing like key at this time. Key gets to QB in a hurry on every play. When he plays that's all he does. The whole defense revolved around key last year. When he comes back we are just nasty

Yeah I know. But for KLC and Key to be on the field at the same time KLC would have to play F. I dont see any other position he would play.

Chaisson needs to put on 20+ pounds before he can really make a difference against good competition.
He'll be great in Key's spot NEXT YEAR.

I agree 100%. By rotate I meant more relieve, even key won't play 100% of the snaps

Chaisson looked like a talented freshman in his first college game last night.

Very raw, inexperienced but showed flashes of greatness.

Future is bright!!!

Beyond nasty. We basically get to add the potential #1 draft pick (at least talent wise)to this defense not to mention all the other guys that sat out. Kinda hard to wrap my mind around it. Total nightmare for opposing offenses

Only as rushers in obvious passing situations. During normal downs you can't have five guys on the field who can't cover.

In obvious passing downs, I'd go with Key and chaisson/Thompson on the other edge with probably Anthony sprinkled in the rotation. I don't see how Thornton can log a lot of snaps simply with the numbers unless Thornton ends up ahead of Anthony once Anthony is fully healthy.

That's what is truly scary about this defense. LSU was practically impossible to move on without possibly the best pass rusher in the nation, and also Kevin Toliver. Cant wait to see how good they are when Key is firing on all cylinders.
