Probably because they knew they'd have never gotten a warrant.

This guy was a victim of a crash that was initiated by a police chase.

The police were trying to cya on potential lawsuits if I had to guess.

What is crazy is that LE and nursing staff usually have a mutual respect for one another. Especially those nurses working in the ER because they likely deal with the same officers on a regular basis.

Don't most studies suggest high speed chases are essentially are greater risk to the public than the criminal themselves?
