First play was a YAC catch.

But still, he will probably light it up in someones air raid offense. Dude is a smart gifted young man. Sucks he was buried in the depth chart.

Gives me lots of confidence in our QB group though.

Should he have gone to Syracuse?

He is a natural talent and WINNER. The mental aspects of the game with reaction to what a QB sees and how he responds to pressure is something you have or don't. It is limited as far as coaching. That's the difference between winners versus practice warriors.

If you watched Scott in the game, he was miraculous, Scott's game at EMCC was just featured on ESPN, he possesses a great deal of talent and leadership. Scott, got in his team's faces when the team fell behind, he led them to victory, big-time!.

Dem boys QBing for the Tigers better show up!

Good for him. I'm sure the talent level at EMCC and their opponents is right in line with the SEC.

Big mistake letting him leave and not giving him a chance. Hopefully we'll be ok

We were told repeatedly by LSU fans on TD and by LSU coaches, that LSU's back-ups are better than this!

Damn strong if they are! Eat Shite, if they aren't.

Sure...we'd have been better letting go of either Etling, Brennan, or Narcisse instead.
The decision was Scott's and it was probably a very good one.

Do you really think you know more than our coaches when it comes to evaluating talent ? Come on man , just think about it.

FYI, all three are still huge question marks for LSU until they prove differently. For Etlin, the big question is his back. Brennan the big question is his playbook knowledge, maturity and mobility. And Narcisee the big question is his knees.

Well obviously Scott's question marks were just as big or bigger. I trust the coaching staff evaluating the QBs. Scott likely would have never played a down here as starting QB.
