Come on dude, the SLC always has a conference game to open the season. McNeese didn't schedule the first game against Nicholls, the conference did.
And that's not an excuse for crap play. They knew the implications of this game, of a loss. We've beat FBS teams to open the season. Shouldn't have been an issue. You think Central Arkansas is going to come out playing like that against K-State?

One of many stupid decisions the SLC makes. Playing a conference game to open the season does not benefit anyone involved.
