I'm referring to domestically, in the present day. Which I am pretty sure that poster was hinting at as well because he is probably familiar with the macro statistics on ideological domestic terrorism.
You know what else has killed a lot of people? Devout christians, but I tend to think my chance of death due to accusations of witchcraft probably aren't very high today. So I don't really run around catastrophizing about the threat.
