How would you recommend I get to LA either tomorrow?

I-20? or try to go through backroads to Beaumont to Lake Charles?

You have a boat? Beaumont is already flooded and they just opened the dam at Toledo.

Go west to San Antonio, then north to red river New Mexico, then east to Texarkana, Tx, drop down to I-20 and you will be right back in the path of the storm

Maybe not a great idea. Sabine river is being flooded by intentional release. If you think Beaumont is a route you are not well enough informed to undertake the journey.
You should have something big riding on it.
Wait two days if you can. Storm will be in memphis.
