How long is your commute to work?

Few more questions:
What is the longest commute you would consider?
Is it worth living a 40-50 minute commute away from where you work and/or children go to school if it's significantly cheaper and the school has a cheap tuition?

The schools close to my work are not good. Yes if public school. I drive 35-40 min a day each way
Would never ever consider the schools close to my work over my neighborhood

Is the commute on the interstate or a highly congested area where there would be a lot of traffic regularly?
Wouldn't be ideal, but could be doable depending on the commute conditions. Would get old fast though.

7 minutes at the absolute most. I feel sorry for the suburbanites who spend 10 hours a week in traffic.

My last commute was 40 minutes in the am and 1 hr in the pm. Currently 15 & 25 but we pay out of the arse for private school

If you stayed in college maybe you wouldn't have to commute so far.

10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Half interstate half congested

Is 10 hours traffic a week better than paying 3-400,000 more for a house?

If I stayed in college I would have student loans out the arse and would have even less money. Try again

Last week it was from central alabama to Tallahassee, Gainesville, Ocala, Bellevue, Orlando, Tampa, Ft Meyers, Immokalee, Belle Glade, Homestead, Miami, Davie, Ft Lauderdale, Wellington, Ft Pierce and back to central Alabama Thursday night by 10 pm.
This week just to Mobile, Pcola, Montgomery, Birmingham and back to Central Alabama headed to Tuscaloosa, Florence, Athens, Huntsville and back home by Thursday night.
All in a weeks work!

Kingwood to The Woodlands via Hwy 99 (aka The Grand Parkway) takes me 20 minutes each way. I leave my home around 6:00am and leave the office around 4:30pm.
I drive 80-85 the whole way. No traffic lights except when I'm getting on/off 99. Easy.

45 minutes one way, easy drive, more cattle and wildlife than vehicles.. does get old, though
Use to be 5 minutes, one way...schools, all public, were good so was not an issue

Gott dayum sonny. How often do you get a new set of tires put on? What kind of car/truck do you drive for work?

8 - 15 minutes depending on traffic. I live right by the interstate and I'll dearly miss it whenever I move out of here.
