Maybe if Louisiana focused less on giveaways to companies who don't need more free shite and invested those funds into their cities and neighborhoods other places wouldn't look so attractive.

The state is a shithole because of people like you and you're scared they'll go to a place that sucks only slightly less. Good. People deserve better.
